According to Jakarta DPRD Commission E, Sereida Tambunan said, in the Law No. 36/2009 on Health has been set, government and private hospitals are obliged to accept patients and prohibited refuse for any reason.

He continued, according to Law No. 44/2009 on Hospital, Jakarta Provincial Government in term of Health Dept. must conduct coaching to the entire hospital.
"That means there must be the seriousness of Health Dept. to do supervision. If anyone violates the provisions, they can be dealt with firmly," he expressed.
Similar statement also comes from other Jakarta DPRD Commission E, Hasan Basri Umar. He stated, the main principle of establishing a hospital to serve the people.
"So it's not just to seek benefit. We must push the government more firmly thus this hospital obeys the rules," he closed.
